Pumpkins Week Two!

Sorry this is so slow, but here is an update on our pumpkins. A few have started to grow and are getting big! Hopefully more will sprout next week! The children have loved coming in each day and checking their plant.

Writing Instructions

This week we have been learning how to write instructions. Today we each wrote our own instructions for how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Here are a few of the sandwiches we made with our recipes. Not the outcome we were looking for!!! This helped us to see how we need to include each step, be specific and put our instructions in order. Luckily our class came up with some great instructions the second time around that helped us make some good sandwiches!

Pumpkin Life Cycle

Today we started our pumpkin life cycles. We will have fun and learn a lot watching our pumpkin seeds grow. When they get too big for the cups we will transplant them outside. Next Fall we will have some big orange pumpkins!

Jump For Heart

We had a great time at Jump For Heart! Miss K won the girl's jump off. Way to go!!!

Fun Run!

Just a reminder about our Creekside Fun Run. Registration forms will be coming home and are due April 23rd. The run and carnival will be on May 7th. More forms are located by the office. Always a fun event!

Jelly Bean Math

Today we did Jelly Bean Math. It was a lot of yummy learning. We did measurement, estimation, odd and even, division, graphing, subtraction, etc. What a great way to learn!!!

Easter DOl

Today we did Easter Daily Oral Language. Each egg had an Easter sentence with lots of silly mistakes that we had to fix.
